1.How to connect two conveyor belts with different layers

Generally, two different conveyor belts cannot be docked. But in some unexpected situations, this method has to be adopted when the site needs an emergency. When using this method, it is best to place a seam of one layer to two layers at the bottom, and place enough rubber at the sealing tape to eliminate the impact of the thickness of the two ends on the conveyor belt joint.

2. Bonding method of conveyor belt

It is recommended that the adhesive bonding of the conveyor belt be performed by thermal vulcanization. Core glue is required in the middle. Each step can only have one layer of cloth.

3.Why the conveyor belt joint is easy to crack and disconnect

The strength at the joint of the conveyor belt is lower than that of the normal belt body. When mechanically connected, the strength of the joint can only reach 40-50% of the strength of the belt. When the quality of the cold bonding method is better, the strength of the joint can reach 60-70%, and the strength of the thermal bonding head can reach 80-90%. (The connection method is correct and no quality defects). Because the strength of the joint is relatively low, if the bonding method is not correct, the strength of the joint will be lower, such as the operation of the knife, the next layer of cloth is injured during grinding, excessive grinding, insufficient overlap length, insufficient number of steps, bonding The rubber used in the joint has poor performance or has lost its self-sulfur, excessive grinding of the wire rope, rust of the wire rope, etc., the strength of the joint will be greatly reduced, and the phenomenon of disconnection of the joint is easy to occur during use.

In addition, if the conveyor belt does not use sealing glue or the direction of the rubber joint is wrong, the joint part is prone to cracking (face adhesive part).

4.What is the reason for the slippage of the conveyor belt?

When the conveyor belt runs normally, the belt speed is not lower than 95% of the rotation speed of the roller. If the friction between the roller and the conveyor belt is not enough, the conveyor belt is prone to slippage. There are many reasons for the insufficient friction between the roller and the conveyor belt. The common causes are: insufficient tension, load start, insufficient coefficient of friction on the surface of the roller, etc. The reasons for insufficient tension are: insufficient tensioning stroke, insufficient counterweight weight, too long conveyor belt, etc .;

The reasons for the insufficient friction coefficient of the roller surface are as follows: the rubber surface of the roller surface is too worn and abraded, the belt body is too wet or lubricated with oil, and the surface of the belt body is susceptible to water swelling.

5.The conveyor belt does not deviate from the top and what causes it to go below

The upper and lower sides of the conveyor belt are mutually influential and independent. In general, the lower parallelism of the lower supporting rollers and the insufficient horizontality of the rollers will cause the underside of the conveyor to deviate. The lower side is off, and the upper side is normal.This situation is basically caused by poor cleaning devices, sticky materials on the lower rollers, non-parallel rollers, or skewed counterweight brackets, and non-parallel rollers. The specific situation should be adjusted according to the actual situation. Generally speaking, the lower side deviation can be corrected. You can improve the working condition of the cleaning device, remove the sticky materials on the rollers, rollers, adjust the lower flat rollers, the lower V-shaped rollers, or install the lower Side aligning idler to achieve the purpose of correction.
