STRAIGHT-GAUGE CONVEYOR BELT


Features: The warp and weft yarns do not intersect; instead, the weft threads are positioned on either side of the main warp thread and connected by edge warps. Because both warp and weft threads are arranged in a straight, non-stretched configuration, the fabric maintains high fiber strength retention and exhibits excellent dimensional stability. Typically, the core warp yarns are made from polyester or aramid fibers, while the weft yarns consist of nylon 66 fibers. The core itself usually comprises 1–2 layers of woven fabric. As a result, the finished conveyor belt features a thin core layer combined with thick cover rubber—characteristics that allow it to effectively replace steel-cord or PVC solid-core belts in certain applications. This type of conveyor belt boasts uniform strength, exceptional tear resistance, high tensile strength, minimal elongation, and remarkable load-bearing capacity. It also offers excellent groove-forming properties, strong joint integrity, superior impact resistance, and an impressively long service life. These features make it ideal for long-distance, high-capacity, and high-speed material transportation, particularly well-suited for challenging environments such as mines, ports, and coal-processing facilities.
