Layered Fabric-Core Conveyor Belt
Product Description
Features
Polyester conveyor belts, also known as EP conveyor belts, feature a carcass made from a woven fabric of radial polyester yarns combined with circumferential nylon fibers. These belts are distinguished by their low radial elongation and exceptional troughing performance in the circumferential direction. They exhibit excellent water resistance, maintaining strong tensile strength even when wet, while also preventing mold growth. With a high initial modulus, they are ideally suited for transporting materials over medium to long distances under heavy loads and at high speeds.
Nylon conveyor belts are made by weaving nylon canvas, derived from cotton yarn, into a strong fabric core, which is then coated with high-performance rubber. These belts feature a thin profile, exceptional tensile strength, excellent abrasion and impact resistance, superior groove-forming capabilities, robust adhesion between fabric layers, outstanding flexibility, and an impressively long service life. As a result, they are ideally suited for transporting materials over medium to long distances, under heavy loads and demanding conditions—making them widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, construction, and port operations.

Nylon is one of the finest synthetic fibers currently used in the rubber industry. Its structure is woven entirely from nylon fibers, both in the warp and weft directions, making it the most versatile variety available. Its standout advantages include excellent wear resistance, high tensile strength, and superior fatigue resistance. Nylon canvas conveyor belts boast characteristics such as a thin belt body, exceptional tensile strength, outstanding impact resistance, excellent troughability, strong interlayer adhesion, remarkable flexibility, and an exceptionally long service life. These belts are ideally suited for medium- to long-distance material transport under conditions involving heavy loads and high speeds, making them widely applicable in industries like mining, metallurgy, construction, and port operations.
